Wireless Festival 2012 Reviews

"Mesmerising and Muddy"
Even though the weather was atrocious across the whole weekend Wireless was held, the lineup, atmosphere, people and alcohol more than made up for it! I went Saturday and Sunday, and although the weather was worse on the Sunday, the atmosphere and the day overall was better.

We were front row and centre for Madeon, Kaskade and the massive Calvin Harris which was totally mind-blowing and one of the best live music experiences I've had - including performances I've already seen this year from Watch the Throne, Drake and previous festival acts such as David Guetta, Florence + the Machine and Eminem. Whilst Wireless isn't a festival in the true sense, where you lock yourself from the outside world for several days and live like a hill-billy, it certainly punched above it's wait with a phenomenal lineup and the amount of stuff going on in between acts -mainly consuming copious amounts of alcohol.

Highlights were Calvin Harris in the Pepsi Max tent, a surprise performance from Ne-Yo and the Jagermeister bar.

The Party is Over!

It was a fantastic journey, matching you with music festivals, but it just wasn't meant to be.
The site's still up, so you can nosey around old festival line-ups, but most the party animals have left. Choosefest rests in my project archives
